I am a freelance writer and editor living in the scenic countryside of Madison County, Iowa surrounded by critters furry, feathered or otherwise. Writing stories and poetry ever since I was little, I've long dreamt of becoming a children’s author and inspiring the imagination of young audiences.
I'm very excited to share my first book, Even Fleas Say Please, with you all!

When I'm not typing away at my desk, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, two children and matching pair of black cats. You can also find me

roaming the woods, chasing wildlife with my camera or walking along the river looking for cool rocks.
